Multi-headed Camshaft Inspection System - ADCOLE Model 1304

For high speed accurate measurement of camshafts, the ADCOLE Model 1304 offers one minute measurement times.

The speed and agility of this gaging system is only surpassed by the traditional accuracy of Adcole gages. The Model 1304 is offered with 2 or 4 independent meausring heads. The base granite mounting plate is in a horizontal orientation for easy part loading/unloading. Depending on the requirements, this gage can also be used in-line to perform 100% inspection.

The flexibility and versatility of this gageing system is comparable to a single headed gage but this gage will complete a part inspection in a fraction of the time. Each carriage and follower is programmed to move and be positioned individually. Despite the tremendous gains in cycle time, there is no sacrifice in accuracy or capability. Change over to different part types is simple and direct. Tailstock adjustments, to account for different part lengths, are fast and easy.

Measured results can be viewed on the monitor, printed or forwarded to an SPC collection site. With the user-friendly Windows platform, programming and output report formatting is flexible and easy. Similar to other Adcole gage models, reporting can provide actual measured dimensions and tolerance deviations for easy interpretation.
