A new software package for their Model 1200 Crankshaft-Camshaft Gage that reportedly provides significant measurement and post-processing improvements is being introduced by ADCOLE Corporation of Marlborough, MA, U.S.A.

ADCOLE’s Model 1200 Crankshaft-Camshaft Gage Software Upgrade Package can be retrofit to all existing Windows® gages in the field to allow a customer’s entire supply chain to have the same measurement and processing capabil-ities. New measurement parameters include thrust face total runout, asperity removal and chatter analysis, and post-processing features include extensive 3-D color mapping and analysis options such as cylindricity report plots.

Permitting users to get more detailed information from their gage with greater ease, ADCOLE’s Model 1200 Crankshaft-Camshaft Gage Software Upgrade Package requires no modification to their current measurement sequences. Standard features include the time-saving ability to re-measure only a spec-ific portion of a part and visual summary reports that present output data as colorful bar graphs and plots which make it easier to spot trends.
