ADCOLE BUYS OUT KOMATSU-NTC SUBSIDIARY - MAINTAINS PRESENCE IN FAR EAST
Marlborough, MA (U.S.A.)- Adcole Corporation, a leading manufacturer of special purpose machines for measuring engine components such as camshafts, crankshafts, and pistons has bought out Komatsu-NTC from their joint venture, Adcole Far East Ltd., in Tokyo. Komatsu-NTC is reportedly consolidating their business units. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Adcole saw this as an opportunity to reinforce their relationships with customers in the Far East region who include Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Mitsubishi Heavy, Yanmar Diesel, Hyundai, Kia, GM Daewoo, and others. Adcole’s measuring machines are used by engine manufacturers to help meet quality objectives in the gage room and on the shop floor.
